August 20th- First Sign of Fall!

Dinner in Istanbul

One of the best meals I ate when I was in Istanbul was lamb cooked in a clay pot over an open flame, served with rice, potatoes, eggplant, and mushrooms. It was fascinating to watch them cook the delicious, tender meat right by our table.

 Aunt Stiffy were leaving her for 9 days for their mission trip to Central Asia.
