Not if you're from the south! That's a tulip tree. Magnolia trees are totally different. Trust me, I'm from Magnolia, AR and we had Magnolia trees all over the place. They look like this: http://www.backyardnature.net/fl_magno.htm. When we first moved here, we thought everyone was crazy calling the tulip poplars Magnolias. :) Mrs. Cloud
